Hi Can anyone please confirm if it is possible to dial a 0845 number from a landline phone outside of the UK ? I did a quick search for this but found mixed answers.  0044 845 xxxxxx i assume if so ? Also if the 0845 number was dialed from a UK mobile with roaming enabled when in another country i am sure it would work just like any other number does ? Thanks

Better to quote +44 845 xxxxxxx as the IDD prefix isn't always 00 (011 in North America) : Also if the 0845 number was dialed from a UK mobile with roaming : enabled when in another country i am sure it would work just like any : other number does ? Should need the +44 format still (some mobile operators seem to do some assumptions and it might work anyway!)

Thanks Very variable, from some countries 0845 works but in some countries it doesn't. I've also been in some countries were some carriers can connect but others can't. My latest was Thailand where TOT could not connect to a 0845 number saying 'not available from this country' but a TTT line in the same town could.
