Thanks to Andrew Gross at University of Chicago ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it )   Andrew Gross called the F.C.C. and they sent him a prepared packet of info on Howard Stern.  He had spoken to woman coincidentally named Robin.   The packet included information about $600,000 fine that was levied in December, 1992.  It explains its jurisdiction to fine Infinity (citing the legal codes).  It also notes that Alfonse D'Amato had urged the F.C.C. to withdraw these punitive measures.   After that, there are 19 pages of tran_script_s from November and December of 1991 (about half of it dealing with Pee Wee Herman.)   Finally, there are separate statements from two of the commissioners, James Quello and Ervin Duggan.  Some of their statements explain why this ruling was not going to affect the sale of three stations that Infinity was purchasing at the time. Quello's statement is rather heavy-handed and nasty. (see below for another way of reading the packet)
