Only short hairstyle can be acknowledged this summer too "dressed hair". Remaining are qualified rather to categories "dressed", read quite liberated, mutinous. The expression of the colour, the storm of uncontrollable curls, the smoothness trippant into the total anarchy. In a word the mutiny and the revolt.

network 2 pcs using cat5 New school network
I would like to set up a 10/100 network within a small school without the expense of installing full CAT5 cabling. The requirement is for 12 PCs (Win/98) in 1 classroom, 2 PCs in another 4 classrooms and 4 PCs in the school office. The network traffic is going to be minimal - small amount of email, printing to network printers, occasional Internet access via ISDN router. Questions: 1) Can I do this by installing 1 x 16 port hub, and 5 x 4 port hubs and running CAT5 cables direct to each PC? 2) If so, what is the maximum length of the cable from hub to PC ? 3) How can I _link_ the hubs together. The maximum distance between hubs is about 150 metres         Can this be done by _link_ing port 1 of hub 1 to port 1 of hub 2 using CAT5 cable?         Do I need backbone cable?         Do I need any repeaters etc? Thanks

to network printers, occasional Internet access via ISDN router. Questions: 1) Can I do this by installing 1 x 16 port hub, and 5 x 4 port hubs and running CAT5 cables direct to each PC? I don't count enough ports....  You have 12 PC's and probably a printer or two, so you ned up with 14 ports horizontal and 1 port for an up_link_ . Note that all of these ports are purely arbitrary - up_link_ and horizontal only mean something in terms of the overall topology, not in terms of the devices themselves. Somehow you need to connect 5 more hubs to this one - you are four ports short. In the office, you have 4 PC's, an ISDN Router, and probably a printer.  That's already six ports, plus an up_link_ , so you need more there. 2) If so, what is the maximum length of the cable from hub to PC ? 100 meters. 3) How can I _link_ the hubs together. The maximum distance between hubs is about 150 metres If you can arrange for a hub in the middle to be the interconnect point less than 100 meters, you can plug them all in using normal ports.  For more than 100 meters you will need to use fiber. Can this be done by _link_ing port 1 of hub 1 to port 1 of hub 2 using CAT5 cable? Yes.  Just make certain to roll the cable (or, if you have a port marked MDI/MDI-X with a little button, you can use that to roll the cable for you). Do not string them all in a straight line - Hub 1 to Hub 2 to Hub 3 to Hub 4 to Hub 5 to Hub 6 - that violates the repeater rule - no more than 4 repeaters in a row .  Instead, connect Hub 1 to hub 2 and Hub 3 and Hub 4 and Hub 5 and Hub 6.  Then you will have a maximum of 3 repeaters in a row.        Do I need backbone cable? Only if there is no way to avoid the 100 M limitation of cat-5.        Do I need any repeaters etc? Hubs are repeaters.

Do I need any repeaters etc? The hubs and switches are repeaters. Good Luck!
