Recovered.     Well, you say you've tested it, but I still want to see it with my own eyes. Mewtwo is tied for 8th place among all pokemon for Attack. Mega Kick does a whopping 120 pts of damage on the Prima scale. (Unless you get into Hyper Beam and the exploding moves, or Bide/Counter etc, it is basically the most damaging of all physical attacks.) Meanwhile, Alakazam is tied for *125th place* among all pokemon for Defense. Even without the complete battle damage formula available, I've got to say: do the math.     Just to reiterate, I do think that Alakazam is awesome. But like I said, Mewtwo is Alakazam Plus. Faster, more Special, and heaps more Attack and Defense. I really don't think that Alakazam is a Mewtwo killer . The ultimate proof is: try giving one of your Mewtwo's Toxic, and then see how well the Alakazam holds up to his own tactic. Yes, I agree with you completely that Mewtwo's better. If Mewtwo were to do the same strategy as Alakazam, Mewtwo would definately win. But how many people you know have a Mewtwo with Toxic?     Fair enough. Use of Mewtwo in a _link_ battle is probably not positively correlated with creativity or originality. Nearly everyone has a variation on the old standby: Psychic, Swift, Recover, and Mist/Amnesia/Barrier. And hey, it works.     Everyone tries to think of ingenious combos to take out Mewtwo - how many people try to think of combos FOR Mewtwo?
