EPIDEMIOLOGY The rate of thoracic trauma in the United States is 12 per million population per day - and 20-25% of deaths due to trauma are attributed to thoracic injury. The French authorites and the doctors at the scene, have clearly shown that the delay was caused by the cardiac arrests caused by low blood pressure. I would like to call attention to the word arrestS .  Especially the S which to me is an indication of plural.  Conveying the idea that there were MORE than ONE.   I think there might have been a different set of actions in one case where there was ONE such event.  And one might try to determine some exact temporal anticedent possibly. If one gives a strong suggestion that there were a number of similiar events and one could deduce from a study of the sequence that the event type always, or almost always occurred immediately after, and therefor presented strong repetitious evidence, that the type event would again occurr with little doubt immediately following a similar cause then a situation might have existed that from my reading was not so conclusive. In other words, at the early time, there might not have been multiple cardiac arrestS but only one.  The reading to me seems that the second was far down the road somewhat figuratively. So trying to butress an argument by an over statement of MULTIPLICITY may mis-align the balance over a durational timeline.  And thence the support for proof of cause of instantaneous actions.
