There was a recent thread that discussed this. The initial poster included saving par as part of the definition while a follow up (Don??) broadened it to just the act of getting up and down. I liked the latter since right now I'm often faces with up and downs to save my bogey (pars are few and far between). Yesterday I posted my round to a net _base_d handicap service (www.nethandicap.com), and one of the features is that it automatically figures out U&Ds from the information you put in. Well it obviously agrees with the former definition because I didn't give me credit for one whole where I did one-putt but it was for bogey after a good chip. Same thing happened to me on what would have been a sand save under the latter definition. Does anyone know if under the official PGA Tour statistics is getting U&D for a bogey is recorded as a U&D. Ditto for sand saves. Thanks, Dave Clary/Corpus Christi,TX
