Hello Adam Knight and any others, Regarding seperation of Church and State and your post of 5 days ago, You possibly have that backwards! The Ideals and Laws that our forefathers sought to legislate and brought to fruition(Puritans,Methodists and Baptist alike), were to bring an end to the religious persecution by the liturgical monarchy of the time(Anglican). Something they risked life, limb and property for, and won for all of us at the highest cost of human life. Your denunciation of a 300 year old protestant religious association and the subsequent alignment to a  liturgical order with a bloody history of intolerance and maniacal control over the governments of many ages is a backwards step for any one to follow who is genuinely converted and claims Christ as his/her Lord and Savior.This is One nation ,under God,indivisible, with liberty and justice for all The people with secular prioritys and enimity in their hearts towards our loving God are the ones fighting to remove  the Church  from our declining society. Do you actually endorse that ? Even Catholics would never dare to seek the elimination of Gods dominance in the order of human activitys!they seek it!     Goal of founding fathers was to prevent state from saying The Baptist(just example) church is the only church that can be worshiped in, it is the religion of nation.  Why is that so hard to understand?  All it takes is a little knowledge of history.  What is being taught to your kids, no more importantly what was taught to you that was nonsense?
