years needed to get to get to college what distinguishes one undergraduate architecture program from another?
I'm looking for information contrasting different schools' architecture programs in certain dimensions. Here are some key types of data we would like to better understand: 1) Do some architecture programs have better reputations than others, in the eyes of prospective employers, in regards to obtaining quality employment in the field of architecture?  Which ones? 2) Do some undergraduate architecture programs have better reputations than others in regards to admission to a quailty graduate program in architecture?  Which ones? 3) Do some graduate architecture programs have better reputations than others?  Do some lead to better architecture careers?  Which ones? 3) Are there basic advantages/disadvantages to the 5-year B of Arch program?  To the 4+2-year BA in Arch + M of Arch program?  To the 5-1/2-year M of Arch program? 4) Are some architecture programs better networked in terms of providing pathways for students to obtain quality internships, part-time jobs, and post-degree jobs?  Which ones? We are trying to better quantify the above, in regards to the following schools: Carnegie Mellon Catholic University Cornell Miami University Notre Dame Princeton Rice Also, we have the following specific questions about some of these schools: Catholic University: None of college rating books we have researched seem to include Catholic University's architecture program in their ratings.  Is there a reason why? Notre Dame: This program is unique in its focus on classical architecture.  Is this a plus or a minus? Rice: This program seems set up to take the longest time to obtain a B of Arch degree
