applying liquid eyeliner perfectly green eyeliner?

Ok,so I 'need' a green eyeliner for everyday wear. I've got naturally auburn hair and pale skin, eyes are sort of sludge coloured (greeny grey) and my eyelashes are auburn too (big pain, mascara never goes right to the roots) , and I hardly ever wear makeup to work, but I do like Urban Decays liquid liner in rust (orangy gold) and find I can wear that and nowt else on my face for a bit of a lift. I now find I desire an equivalent sort of thing but in green, not too dark, more a beetle wing or snakeskin green, slightly _meta_llic if possible, and something that will saty on reasonably well. Any suggestions? I'm in the UK but don't mind ordering in if its not too ridiculous on the postage. ta Sally

Rimmel does a green pencil eyeliner which is sorta sludgy green and _meta_llic which is best used if you damp it a bit first. I've got some, but never used it, although it does sound like what you are looking for. hope this helps! **Ebony** Sally Pointer <

Look at the brands aimed at the 20 and under crowd. They tend to do colors like _meta_llic green that you wouldn't ordinarily see. Like I have found purples and oranges in Wet N Wild, maybe try there, or sometimes the expensive, name brands do some toned-down outragous colors, if you know where to look. I hope you find what you are looking for! Sorry I couldn't give any specific advice, I usually just do black, myself. ~Diana

I would second the rec on the Rimmel. Ever thought of having your eyelashes dyed? Sounds like it could be a good solution to the auburn roots problem if you can afford the upkeep.

Would you explain? Artaxiel Sure, the beautician I go to asked if I would like to have my lashes dyed once and I said yeah why not? It was about $9 Aus. They lay you down smear Vaseline around the lids and wack on some dye stuff. Theoretically they then leave you for 10 mins and remove and tah dah dyed jet black (in this case) lashes. The dye irritated me so it came of after about 1 min, however and they didn't charge me but said they occasionally get a person who has a mild reaction. Since then I have heard of salons that do the same process but with a thicker paste where you can actually sit up and wait the 10 mins. I think that would be better. HTH
