suggestions? I'm in the UK but don't mind ordering in if its not too ridiculous on the postage. Have a look in Boots stores for Petunia cosmetics; these seem to be aimed at little girls, and I think they're being phased out, but they do some _gorgeous_ bright colours in liquid eyeliners. I also have a bluey-sea-green liquid eyeliner from the Body Shop, but again, I think they may have discontinued it; it's certainly not listed on their website. UD do a dark _meta_llic green, but that may be darker than what you want. Another option is to find an eyeshadow that you like, and use a fine brush, dry or damp, to apply it as eyeliner. UDs mildew is perfect for this, and sounds like the sort of colour you're after, although it might be wrth shopping around. Another possibility is Barry M, one of my eternal favourites! The Dazzle Dusts are nice and shimmery/_meta_llic, the colour range is incredible (have a look at http://www.barrym.co.uk/eyes.cfm?productID=11&productname=Dazzle%20Du... rnpage=eyes.cfm for a rough idea, although checking out the real products will give you a clearer idea, of course!), and again, applying with a fine, slightly damp brush works well for me! They're also very good value, as long as you don't spill them! They're available in Superdrug. HTH H

Ok,so I 'need' a green eyeliner for everyday wear. I've got naturally auburn hair and pale skin, eyes are sort of sludge coloured (greeny grey) and my eyelashes are auburn too (big pain, mascara never goes right to the roots) , and I hardly ever wear makeup to work, but I do like Urban Decays liquid liner in rust (orangy gold) and find I can wear that and nowt else on my face for a bit of a lift. I now find I desire an equivalent sort of thing but in green, not too dark, more a beetle wing or snakeskin green, slightly _meta_llic if possible, and something that will saty on reasonably well.  Any suggestions? I think UD's cash is gorgeous, and they have a new beautiful color Mildew.   Amphigory's bitter envy is a deep forest green with fine sparkliness.   You need to apply a heavier _layer_ to make it more green, which is confusing but there you go.  Since you're in the UK, I'd consider Techno Kitty (www.technokitty.com). I ordered 2 Barry M colors and they are fabulous and Lucy is an absolute doll.  Emerald Green and Green Fairy look like they might fit the bill. Also, for those who are lunatics Lucy's Shocking Pink is almost the color of Neon Violet fake hair.  It's really pretty. Adding a touch of dark purple underneath makes it even more beautiful.  Also, Marigold is such a lovely color and would go wonderfully w/ UD's rust eyeliner. j

Yup, Barry M Dazzle Dusts are a lot of fun, seeing as they are fairly cheap, vegan, & come in such nice colours. I'll add a few more colours to the site soon. Taking all those photos of the stuff on my eyelids in natural sunlight is easier in summer, but I'm a bit crazy about trying to show the colours as realistically as possible. The brightest green liquid eyeliner I ever found was a Petunia one in Boots. But after I bought it, they vanished off the racks They have my phone number with pleas to call me if it ever shows up again, but it's been many months since I asked. I think your best bet would be to keep checking places like Claire's, as these kind of colours sometimes show up there. And I know I'm always saying this, but H&M sell a *lovely* BRIGHT emerald green matte eyeshadow for 99p, if there is one in the green- loving poster's area Lucy
