I was in the drugstore yesterday buying some shampoo, when I noticed some new lip gloss on the endcap of the cosmetics aisle. I'm a lip gloss whore, so I grabbed some. I think it cost around $7 Canadian It comes in several different Shades. I bought 'Wine Shine' there's also a lilac, a red, a few pinks and a few 'nudes' or browns. They come in a small grey box with silver foil and a large Dot indicating the colour of the gloss, with 'GLass SHIne' written in the centre of the dot. I get home and start playing. It's in a small _meta_l tube ... you get 0.20 FL oz / 6 ml First, a complaint. I opened it up, squeezed a tiny amount onto my pinky and put it on. I needed a little more, so I take off the cap again ... and it starts slowly oozing out. Every time I take the cap off it oozes a little ... so I take what oozed out, and it starts oozing again. (only a little comes out, but it's still irritating) Now when I put the cap on, a little comes out from underneath. I think this may just be because of the summer heat ... but I'm not sure - maybe I'll test it ... put it in the fridge or something

It's not sticky - it goes on smoothly. It's very lightly scented - first thing I did was smell it (I can't stand stinky lipgloss)... it smells kind of like Punky Colors 'Red Wine' Hairdye - only MUCH milder. (you can't smell it when it's on your lips.) There's no flavor to it - which I like. I like the colour. It's a nice medium burgundy. Almost exactly the same as the dot on the tube and on the box. and you can apply any thickness to achieve different shades

When applied thickly it has an INCREDIBLE shine. I had to move out of the light so my dad could see the colour better. The thinner the _layer_, the less of a shine. I ate some dinner, and had a drink. The shine and most of the colour came off, but it left a nice stain on my lips. I reapplied and it stayed on the rest of the evening. - When I wiped it off later, it left my lips a deeper shade of pink than normal. It doesn't seem to dry out my lips (but I've only used it twice so far) Unfortunately, since it is a gloss, and is liquid, it does feather and bleed, so I need to find a lipliner that will go with it. I'm going to pick up the lilac one on my lunch break. Hopefully it's nice - all the testers (except an icky brown one) had been stolen. I'm also going to pick up a couple of lip brushes to make it easier to apply as well. ~Chastity, who is always on the lookout for lipgloss she hasn't tried yet.
