Glad to see I'm not the only one When Kyna was about 12 months old, she started getting nippier and nippier. Finally, I got down, got into a 'fight' with her, gave her a good 'beating' and then got her on the ground and  bit into her throat....... whilst growling all the time. She hasn't done it since And I spent a good 30mins spitting all the dog hair out of my mouth!!

Man after my own training I see.  Yes, when the little four paw tykes take to gettin' nippy I do the same, knock them down and then roll them into the submissive belly up position and get them by the throat with my teeth. Simply put, it's canine language that they immediately understand without a doubt.   Getting the dog hair out of your mouth afterwards is a bitch though, hey??!!

Thanks for thinking of me. I am around but not often. I should be at work but I can barely get my leg on due to causing a huge blister( skin coming off) my stump while teaching yesterday. It is weird because it was out of the blue and hasn't happened for over a year. I am pissed off because I basically cannot walk for a few days  maybe more if I cannot heal it properly.This doesn't look good as I only work 2 days a week b/c I am on Workers Comp still. Murphy's Law has once again  manifested.This is the busiest Term for me due to choir rehearsals for our concert in 6 weeks. I bags coming down to the pond for a swim.!!!!
