Just tried some of this for the first time today. It's the one in the black tube with the little tiny exfoliating grains in it. Is is supposed to foam? Because it didn't for me. And will it remove makeup properly? I'm not sure if I like this cleanser or not: I prefer some lather but if it is going to work miracles on my skin then I will persist with it... I also read on the label (after I brought the damn stuff home - don't you just hate that?) that you aren't meant to get it anywhere near your eyes. Bah! Raves, revues anyone? The beads are the reason you're not supposed to get it near your eyes (that, and it also contains BHAs). I have no idea if it removes makeup because I use it in my morning shower when I'm not wearing any. I feel like it does a good job of removing what's left of whatever night cream I've used and makes my face nice and smooth for makekup. YMMV, of course! -KMS

I've had more luck with salicylic acid for managing acne. HTH, Megan

I kept putting this cleanser away thinking it was just the wrong season to be using it, but I broke out every time after adding it back in.  FYI, I double cleansed, using it after cleaning first with Is it lotion, gel or liquid?  Foamy or Flat?
