Hi, My wife has just showed me an advertisement in one of her magazines for Exorex lotion, which claims to be a new treatment for Psoriasis. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this?... I should point out that I am from the UK, so I have no idea if it is called the same thing in other countries. Hey Mike: Yup, it's called the same thing elsewhere although it's far from new. The actual brand has been around for several years and it's basically a topical tar therapy, which has been used on P for a very long time. However, it is a variation, with it's own delivery system that many have felt made it significantly better than other tar preps. Others have not had luck with it or no better luck than with other, less expensive, tar preps. Exorex has also been a bit less than ethical in some of their marketing claims and practices. In which they're not alone, nor does that in itself mean their product is worthless. Use the following _link_ to check out some previous ng discussion about it:

FWIW, if you don't know if your P responds to topical tar, I'd suggest trying a cheaper tar prep first or alternating for comparison to see if you can get the same benefit with a cheaper, simpler formulation.
