Big and proud return to the classics, shapely, feminine lines of head-dresses or Afro it is the alternative not only on the carnival. In this season we observe return to the classics. Very strong lines of hair-cuttings, geometrical, sharp cuts - that's dominating. The classics does not mean however the boredom, oldschool quiet, classical forms broken they are futuristic asymmetries. A base of neat, feminine head-dresses is the sharp cut showing the face and neck, asymmetric, simple fringes exhibiting the face.

TTL by the way is shorthand for The Trainline (or in this context any booking site which uses the TTL booking engine/back-office). I always thought TTL was a type of light measurement used on SLRs (Single Lens Reflex cameras).  It stands for Through The Lens . Don't forget TTL = Transistor Transistor Logic. Transistor-Transistor Logic, or TTL, refers to the technology for designing and fabricating digital integrated circuits that employ logic gates consisting primarily of bipolar transistors.  It overcomes the main problem associated with DTL, i.e., lack of speed. KW.

Transistor-transistor Logic , isn't it?  Or am I showing my age? You'd be showing your age if you started talking about RTL and DTL (Resistor Transistor Logic and Diode Transistor Logic).

I'm at odds with these three which are obviously places:    LAP    BFR    ZFD Lapford London Blackfriars Farringdon One of the skills you need here is to be able to rapidly switch between codes and initials, depending on the context, which is often mixed in the same sentence. Hands up all those who would have thought LAP was Luton Airport Parkway... I used to be amazed at the amount of discussion about Barnes, aka BNS... Paul

Hands up all those who would have thought LAP was Luton Airport Parkway... I would, and like the OP am disinclined to refer to it as LTN because most people would assume that was Luton Town (despite being the same as the airport' IATA code). cf BHI/BHX and SSD/STN or even /LHR
