This is rather embarassing. I have really long hair, for a guy. How long? I haven't measured it, but it's more than halfway down my back. Problem is, I don't really know how to maintain it. I never had hair lessons as a kid. Keeps getting tangled when I sleep, etc. Also, I've simply been not getting it cut, and I need a trim. I need a good place to see some men's long-hair_style_s. Lol, Darkmatter-San.  If I grow out my goatee some more and braid it, I could go for quite a look. Right now I just got a ponytail, it's simple and it keeps the hair out of my eyes.

I'm not nice to my hair so it tends to break off at just past shoulder length... <sigh I am not patient when I brush. You are supposed to start at the tips and work up, and I tend to be in too much of a hurry! At night, braid it into a single plait. That will keep it from getting tangled at night. My sister did that and she had magnificent long red hair that she recently donated to the kids cancer wig thing... Good cause but we miss it... Use a good conditioner to make it easy to brush. Suave is cheap and better than most people think! Don't use blow dryers or harsh chemicals like dyes or hairsprays. When I color mine, I use Henna. Neutral Henna that won't cause any color change is an _excellent_ natural periodic deep conditioner. Get it at the health food store, buy a bonnet dryer from the local beauty supply and do a 1 hour neutral Henna hot set once every 4 to 6 weeks. You won't regret it. Hope this helps??? K.

Dreads are SO nasty! just braid it at night. Simple.

I reckon mine is natural human length. The ends split and it drops off, keeping the length roughly constant. It hides my bald patch, too .
