Are the side-sweep bangs still done this year? I know they were popular last year. Has a new look in bangs replaced them? haircut, so that's all that counts, at this point! beeswing I didn't vote.  I just read a magazine article about the middle part , long straight hair look in _style_ now but I have a side part and long swept to the side bangs, which I love.  My forehead is small so the middle part just doesn't work.  The side swept bangs make my already thick hair look even thicker and the cut is great.  What should always count is feeling good about how you look not what is in vogue for the season. Thanks, Audrey. I can't keep up with the fashion-of-the-moment anymore, so I don't really try. In fact, I'd thought the straight hair look was now out and wavy hair was back in! I pretty much have to have bangs because my forehead is high enough that I look strange without them. I was getting tired of the center part and the _style_ of bangs I was sporting; the bangs would grow out so fast that they never seemed to look good for more than about 2 weeks after I got them cut. I'm liking the side-sweep look very well so far. My hair was also pretty long, and I had it cut back a bit so that the whole thing is more in proportion. Thanks for responding! beeswing

I'm waiting till Fall to *maybe* get bangs.  In the summer it'd just be too hot and sweaty.  I'm also not cutting my hair so I can keep it pulled back this summer.  In the Fall I'll get my graduated bob cut back in shorter.

I thought a little about this part of it before I did it. I've had bangs, but they've been lighter weight and a lot of times would just end up shoved up off to the sides. These bangs are going to feel hotter; I can already tell. It's going to take some getting used to for me
