I sometimes hear on the radio various products like Avacor advertising that they will stop and regrow hair in both men and women. Now if many people buy their product and obviously don't regrow their hair, why can't the company be sued for false claims? Are hair loss treatments being marketted classified as 'cosmetic products' which don't have to prove their claims? Can any snake oiler just take a pee into a container and market it as a hair regrowth product?
