Ohmy457, you were just asking the other day for advice on taking Accutane... I would suggest you talk to a physician instead of asking questions on here. You are dangerously ignorant, my friend. Kevin Davis sorry i flamed you the other day....i admittidly don't know a lot about accutane and may have taken JamesK's thoughts out of context....from what he has written, i assumed accutane would somewhat permanently decrease the size of the oil glands..... Ohmy457

admittidly don't know a lot about accutane and may have taken JamesK's thoughts out of context.   Actually, I neve believe saying anything like this. However, I did post a Medline study which did show a signifigant 1 year post-accutane sebosuppressive effect (I believe it was like 76% while on the drug vs 35% one year later). Although this is nowhere near the effect acheived on the drug perhaps the oil can stay below _base_line levels in some for a year after taking the stuff (not in my case though).   -James
