WE USUALY GO TO THE MOUNTAINS IN EAST TENN IN THE LAST PART OF OCTOBER AND ALSO RIDE AROUND HERE IN THE HILLS THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL WE HAVE GONE TO WEST VIRGINIA AND VIRGINIA  THEY TAKE YOUR BREATHE AWAY THERE SOOOOOO PRETTY  LOVE BETTY

Bird Lady

When we go to Maine in the fall we'll take back roads. It becomes almost a 4 hour drive. We go through MA. and part of N.H. into Maine. Now we turn onto back roads populated with antique shops, pumpkin and apple stands. We have a couple of favorite places to stop and eat. The scenery is breathtaking and it's so wonderful that we have it to enjoy. We pass through many villages with there candle shops etc. Finally we reach the lake, if we're lucky we'll hear a loon. We go one town over to the BIG fair every year and do what we all do pig out and have fun. I am at total peace ther~~~I have even wrapped myself up in a blanket ~~sat on the porch just to look at the stars. And there is nothing like the old wood stove to heat us up. Pure bliss!!!!
