Gilmore Girls will not be back. Bet on it. Lauren Graham's recent interview made it sound like she was hesitant to even consider going back. I think it could swing either way. The CW surely wants the show back, but it all hinges on whether LG & AB want to return. I haven't heard a peep out fo AB so who knows what she's thinking. Stacia

Then you and everyone else that's been saying that Gg is likely to be cancelled need to stop being hypocrites and say that you don't know either. But you won't

Well. The CW can renew Gilmore Girls until the cows come home, but if the Girls don't want to play, there ain't no show.

Well. The CW can renew Gilmore Girls until the cows come home, but if the Girls don't want to play, there ain't no show. Dude, when contracts are up, by definition, renewal of the show means that the Girls want to play. Because the contracts are up, the network *can't* unliaterally renew the show, as you try to portray it, so that's just a non-starter.

surely wants the show back, but it all hinges on whether LG & AB want to return. I haven't heard a peep out fo AB so who knows what she's thinking. . . . by both implication and inference, the fact that Ostroff says that they're in talks on the renewal of Gg is a strong indicator that both LG and AB are on board because LG being on board de facto, as a direct result of Lauren's own words means that AB is on board, barring the talks falling through. Of course, there's always the chance that Lauren's mind could have been changed to do the show without AB or with minimal presence from AB, but IMO, that's unlikely, given Lauren's words on the subject. Alexis's statements at last summer's TCAs pretty much match Lauren's in deliberate vagueness
