We should show our individuality not only across the style of dressing ourselves, but also by our head-dresses. According to latest tendencies, head-dresses have to be as most natural. - We turn already to natural slaughter-houses, to the natural texture of hair. Such which can be blow-dried, does not it is necessary them to press with the iron, does not it is necessary them to turn on brushes, absolutely not to comb back, rolls on the head also already are not necessarily timely - Philip Galas speaks. - We found that these natural head-dresses, completely free, completely loose, this this is, what to wear will be. |

And a couple more.... KITTY LITTER CAKE Halloween Flies Halloween Worms KITTY LITTER CAKE 1 Spice or German Chocolate Cake Mix 1 White Cake Mix 1 Large Package Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix 1 Package White Sandwich Cookies Green Food Coloring 12 Small Tootsie Rolls 1 NEW Kitty Litter Box 1 NEW Kitty Litter Box Liner 1 NEW Pooper Scooper Prepare cake mixes and bake according to box directions (any size pan). Prepare pudding, chill until ready to assemble. Crumble sandwich cookies in small batches in food processor, scraping often. Set aside all but 1/4 cup. To the 1/4 cup of crumbs, add a few drops of green food coloring and mix using fork or shake in a jar. When cakes are cooled to room temp, crumble into a large bowl. Toss with half the remaining cookie crumbs and chilled pudding. You probably won't need all the pudding, mix the cake and feel it, you don't want it soggy, just moist; gently combine. Line litter box. Put mixture into box. Put 3 unwrapped tootsie rolls in microwave safe dish and heat until softened. Shape ends so they are no longer blunt, curving slightly. Repeat with 3 more tootsie rolls and bury in cake mixture. Sprinkle the other half of cookie crumbs over top. Scatter green crumbles lightly over top (chlorphyll in cat litter). Heat 3 tootsie rolls in microwave until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with cooke crumbs. Spread remaining tootsie rolls over top; take one and heat until pliable, hang over side of litter box, sprinkle with cookie crumbs. Halloween Flies Last year there was a siliar thread with lots of fun ideas. One I remember was inserting almond slivers into black raisins to make flies , which you suspend in orange jello. Halloween Worms Cooking time: ~ 5 min. Prep time: ~ 15 min., plus overnight chilling Notes: Use a cleaned 1-quart milk or orange juice carton to hold straws 1 pkg. (6 oz.) raspberry or grape flavor gelatin 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin 3 cups boiling water 100 flexible plastic straws 1 tall (same height as extended straws), slender 4 cup container 3/4 cup whipping cream 12 to 15 drops green food coloring In a bowl, combine gelatins. Add boiling water; stir until gelatins completely dissolve. Chill until lukewarm, about 20 min. Meanwhile, gently pull straws to extend to full length; place in tall container. Blend cream and food coloring with the lukewarm gelatin mixture. Pour into container, filling straws. Chill until gelatin is firm, at least 8 hours, or cover and chill up to 2 days. Pull straws from container (if using a carton, tear carton away from straws). Pull straws apart; run hot tap water for about 2 seconds over 3 to 4 straws at a time. Starting at the empty ends, push worms from straws with rolling pin, or use your fingers; lay worms on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Cover and chill until ready to use, at least 1 hour or up to 2 days. Worms will hold at room temp. up to 2 hours. Per worm: 17 cal., 42% (7.2 cal. from fat; 0.4 g. protein; 0.8 g fat (0.5 g sat.); 2 g carbo.; 6.8 mg sodium; 3 mg chol. Makes about 100, including a few casualties. Happy Halloween! ravinwulf

Deja vu ! I just saw all these recipes on rec.food.cooking ! The kitty litter cake sounds really cool ! Melissa R. It is. With all the cats around here, no one was sure if they wanted to check and make sure it really was a cake. <snicker There's also Moose Turds (though it's not really a Halloween recipie). Sauce 12 oz. beer 3 cups ketchup 2 tsp. onion (chopped fine, grated, or flakes) 1 tsp. garlic powder. 2 tbsp. Worchestershire sauce salt & pepper to taste Mix well all ingredients in a crock-pot. Set for slow heat. Meatballs 2 lbs. ground moose (or venison, buffalo, beef, etc.) 1 cup crushed Saltine crakers 2 eggs 2 tbsp. onion (chopped fine, grated, or flakes) salt & pepper to taste Mix well together in a large bowl. Roll into 3/4 inch balls. Broil until lightly brown. Add meatballs to sauce and mix to coat well. Cook 4 hrs. Serve over noodles or rice for a main dish, or with toothpicks as an appetizer. (Better than dead rats in the beer, eh?)

Yep. That's where they came from originally; but since people here had been looking for Halloween party recipes too, I thought I'd pass them along.... ravinwulf ICQ#: 19444672 AOL IM: ravinwulfe I'm just like any modern woman trying to have it all: loving husband, a family. It's just I wish I had more time to seek out the Dark Forces and join their hellish crusade.
