Only short hairstyle can be acknowledged this summer too "dressed hair". Remaining are qualified rather to categories "dressed", read quite liberated, mutinous. The expression of the colour, the storm of uncontrollable curls, the smoothness trippant into the total anarchy. In a word the mutiny and the revolt. |

there're a lot of ways to prepare cooked meats. A portion for me is usually one breast half and maybe part of another (cats eat most of a half). With whole roasters I'll eat about a quarter (again I share with six cats so it never comes out evenly). And I really like cold Cats? My bad, I thought you had dogs and i was about to hit you up for some dog food ideas <grin. I am the recent happy owner of 2 'unadoptable' rescue pets. Daisy, the cat due to being very shy around people (exceptionally so, we are the only family in 18 months who made an offer but she is a lap kitty with us. Slated to be euthanized just as we applied). Cash (beagle mix, suspected but no way to confirm, may be part bull mastiff or part english bulldog) who had heartworms pretty bad so no one wanted him. Will need lifelong special care. Espensive to adopt too as they pass on the medical treatment costs to the adopter (190$ and not even neutered yet because of health reasons). Anyways, was gonna hit you up for dog recipes <g. He needs heart heathy low-sodium ones and while like all dogs, he needs protien, he's not suited to a full meat diet (digestive problems, not to be fed the highest end almost 100% protein stuff). He's also underweight by at least 2 lbs, possibly 7 still. Imagine a beagle of 41.5 lbs being underweight! hehehe he's a mix obviously. First glance, big beagle. Second take, OHMYGHOD BIG MUSCLED BEAGLE! Due to his age and still filling out, they arent sure of his optimum weight yet, just that he's short of it still. And no, he's not as big as a bull mastiff, just body conformation measures match that real close. Personaility, typical airheaded beagle. Oh, sorry. Got a little OT there didnt I? There are lots of do-it-yourself pet food recipe web sites; search <homemade dog food. I don't know the health issues with your animals so I can't make exact recommendations (you should discuss this with your Vet) but I know many of the concoctions include cooked rice and veggies with lean cooked meats... if you're serious about making your own pet food a good meat grinder is a must. My cats are fed a combination of dried cat food (Meow Mix), canned cat food (they all share 2 cans of Fancy Feast the times I don't have suitable people food), and about 30 pct people foods. Whatever you choose do not skimp on quality (no scraps) Vet bills are costly.

What's a serving of chicken to you? =EF=BF=BD Curious Mind wants to know. Usually two thighs or a half breast. One thigh and one leg. And FWIW, I grew up in and still have a small family...

On the chicken thighs, thats probably much more for 2 people but they could have been itty bitty ones (drummettes, pics can be misleading on scale). Or could have been like me, making extra so have my lunch tomorrow. We *always* make extra so we have leftovers - it's cheaper and easier that way. If my husband is working (fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!! - he's been out of work lately) then he's got lunch and he doesn't have to take time to go to the store and buy it, let alone spending the money for it. Grin, suspected so! Same here in pattern. Don is a 'meatarian' who would happily not mind if the entire vegetable kingdom went away except it would mess with the diet of the MEAT he eats. Same here. I would never go to the trouble of roasting or frying or broiling or baking without making up a *whole mess* of meat, unless we have steaks or fish. Too much trouble and mess for just one meal. Per meal, my husband has two pieces of whatever it is, unless it is really big, like a huge chicken breast. I have one unless it is too big, then just a half. But the leftovers go into salads and sandwiches, with noodles or rice oriental _style_, or in soups. My mother did not cook this way, so I am not sure why I do. It works for us. As for eating out, I really don't enjoy it very often, because I worked in restaurants for too long, I like my own cooking too much, and I just cannot see the expense. A few times a year on our own initiative, and probably twenty additional times when others invite us out and we can't say no, and that's fine with me.

: in rec.food.cooking What's a serving of chicken to you? Curious Mind wants to know. A breast and a wing or two each for us. Steven likes drumsticks so sometimes he'll have a breast and a drumstick. For pork chops it's usually 2 each. It's hard to gauge roasts though. Sometimes we eat a lot and sometimes we eat smaller portions. Depends on the side dishes. Burgers is almost always 1 for me and 2 for Steven. I usually make the patties about 1/4 pound each. Michael Interesting about the roast. I try to keep my portion around 3 ounces; Rob will eat maybe twice that just because it tastes good. I get 5 patties from a pound of ground beef.
