Hi to all, I am ashamed to admit this, but despite my efforts my 2 kids love and demand to eat KFC and McDonalds.  I tried many recipes to simulate such food, but admit that I failed miserably to come close to that taste. So, I hope you fellow cooks can enlighten me and help me teach my kids healthy eating does not mean tasteless food.  Can anyone give me a recipe coming close to KFC and McDonalds (preferably grilled - not fried in a pressure cooker) or advise where to find such recipes (such as a cookbook I can purchase). She can if she just wants to get close, IE breaded chicken cutlets and baked fries or a real burger with lean meat.  If she wants that grease smell & taste you're right.  Homemade pizza is good, too.
