Finally, and most importantly, if there are other newsgroups designated for such a post, his post should be routed there, and not nf.general. No, Carter, I wasn't. That would be impossible as there is no book to sell and no plans for one. IIRC it was a suggestion made by a reader and I responded that it might be something that I would consider in the future. I had'nt given it another thought since. My intent in starting the blog had nothing what-so-ever to do with a commercial enterprise. I very recently turned down an article in a local magazine about the blog as well as a number of media requests concerning it. Refusing free advertising is not something that someone interested in flogging a product would reasonably do, I don't think. There are regular readers of this group that know me personally who know exactly the circumstances that initially motivated me to start it. I've made mention of it here before as well, I think. I've gotten out of it exactly what I expected to and it certainly isn't cash. B.

Like I said.  The ones I posted were nf. newsgroups,  Specifically for us here in NF and Lab.  The alt. groups are worldwide.  The nf.general mandate says NOTHING about not posting about food or recipes etc. Where does it say you cannot post porn subjects? Lets have a porn discussion.....anyone up for it? I can think of 100 topics that the mandate does not say we cannot discuss. Does that mean it ok to discuss them?
