what are the alkaline food.I am already on dialysis.Should this alkaline food be of any use in improving my condition?

 Hi Diane,  Thanks again for meeting with me when you were in Minneapolis. I learned so much and was encouraged to see how healthy and vibrant you are. It makes me feel very optimistic about living with PKD. I've been trying to get an Omega juicer but I think in the meantime I'll get one of the cheap, generic centrifugal ones you mentioned. The cleanup is my least favorite thing about juicing as you know.  I'm taking your advice for gaining weight by using almond butter on bread, and mixing protein with grain. I eat a small handful of almonds with rice or pasta for lunch. I'm hoping that will help me hold some weight. Is peanut butter ok to use? I would assume that it has about as much protein as almond butter. Keeping protein intake down, I understand is an important part of the PKD diet, and plant proteins are better than animal proteins, so perhaps this is a way for me to splurge a little bit and feel good about it.
