We should show our individuality not only across the style of dressing ourselves, but also by our head-dresses. According to latest tendencies, head-dresses have to be as most natural. - We turn already to natural slaughter-houses, to the natural texture of hair. Such which can be blow-dried, does not it is necessary them to press with the iron, does not it is necessary them to turn on brushes, absolutely not to comb back, rolls on the head also already are not necessarily timely - Philip Galas speaks. - We found that these natural head-dresses, completely free, completely loose, this this is, what to wear will be. |

The remedy for bags under the eyes that I've heard of is using ice. Supposidly the coolness removes some of the color (much as one's hands turn whiter when cold). I don't know how long lasting this is, but it seems like it might be worth looking into. My $.02. -Mike

bags and such. I want to use some simple, inexpensive products. Any idea ? Depends on the cause, get plenty of sleep, drinks lots of water, as in 8-8 ounce glasses minimum. If the cause is sinus problems, again massive water, and perhaps some sinus medicine. I have heard, but have never done it, that Preperation H will tighten up the ar ea unter the eyes, be careful, tho and don't get it IN the eye.

(...) Then I bought a bottle of .5 oz Uncircle from Ester Lauder for $36. The price makes me choked !!! (...) I want to use some simple, inexpensive products. About three years ago, I bought a wonderful undereye cream from Clinique (about 32$ canadian plus taxes). I must admit I reacted just like you did! Pretty expensive! So I tried other (cheaper) brands like Body Shop, L'Oreal, Neutrogena and Avon. My conclusion: nothing works better or as well as my Clinique cream. It may be more expensive, but when you think about it, the tiny bottle lasts for about a year (we're not talking about body lotion, here!). Isn't it frugal to pay more for a product that is perfect for you than pay less for something that doesn't work?... But then again, if you find something as good as Estée Lauder for less money, go ahead and buy it!!!

I don't want to fuzz with tea bags and such. I want to use some simple, inexpensive products. Any idea ? Well, actually, tea bags are about as simple and inexpensive as you can get (and you get to drink the tea, too - very frugal). Cold-water compresses help reduce the dark circles for some. The chilled sinus masks (gel-filled plastic doohickeys that look like a bandit mask, which you keep in your freezer) are a reusable, mess-free option, but there is an initial cash outlay of $10 or so. If you wear makeup, concealer under your foundation works very well, and there are even slightly tinted ones to use on specific discolorations - I used to have a greenish one that counteracted redness wonderfully back when I wore makeup. Also, as others have said, get enough sleep and drink plenty of water, but I wanted to add getting yourself checked out for allergies, since one of the usually-ignored signs of active allergies is big dark circles under the eyes that resist the standard home treatments. Treat the allergies and the circles go away! The puffy areas under my eyes go away about 20-30 minutes after I've been vertical instead of horizontal so the collected fluid can drain away - it used to bug the dickens out of me in high school that I had to trowel makeup over these bags every morning during the week but I _never_ had them on weekends, until I realized that I rarely even looked in a mirror on weekends until I'd been up for an hour or so! YMMV, of course. (And actually, I do have to agree with BD although not with his choice of wording - if raccoon rings under your eyes are the worst thing you have to worry about, be thankful.)
