Big and proud return to the classics, shapely, feminine lines of head-dresses or Afro it is the alternative not only on the carnival. In this season we observe return to the classics. Very strong lines of hair-cuttings, geometrical, sharp cuts - that's dominating. The classics does not mean however the boredom, oldschool quiet, classical forms broken they are futuristic asymmetries. A base of neat, feminine head-dresses is the sharp cut showing the face and neck, asymmetric, simple fringes exhibiting the face. |

Insider tip: Lancome and L'oreal are the *same* company, same products. Save your money and go to the drug stores, not the counter...also, Clinique makes a shadow you can use a wet brush with and it works wonderful for a liquid eyeliner...although, you don't get as harsh of a line. eh. just because they're owned by the same company doesn't mean they're identical. there's a reason the drugstore products are cheaper, and it's not *just* the packaging (though that is a big part of it!!). i mean, most department store brands are owned by companies that also own drugstore lines. if it were true that they were all the *exact* same products, people by and large simply would not buy department store cosmetics. there would be *no* reason to. but a lot of time, you're getting what you paid for. love and light, ~*~Carly

(snip) Insider tip: Lancome and L'oreal are the *same* company, same products. Save your money and go to the drug stores, not the counter... Hmmm, I've heard this before, but I do notice a distinct difference between Lancome and L'oreal. They're not exactly the same AFAIK, but they *are* owned by the same company... I can only compare it to the old navy/gap/banana republic connection. They are similar, but quality is obvoiusly higher, IMO. The same is true of Estee Lauder and Clinique. People will pay more for the same item just because it's Chanel or Lancome when almost identical products can be bought at the drugstore. Of course, there's a world of difference between say, Wet n Wild and Loreal but some of the higher end drugstore brands have wonderful products. I've bought a lot of horrible but expensive items from department store brands too. To the original poster : Maybelline makes a great waterproof liquid eyeliner. To the original poster : Maybelline makes a great waterproof liquid eyeliner. Mine stays on for hours even through crying fits I love this liner too, but it tends to get gunky in the tube, at least for me. But it's only $5.62, really really black, and does not budgea bit! It's so strong I have to scrape it off with my nail! The MAC lady in NYC said it was because they put tar in it, but hey, it works! Mina

It doesn't work for me! It flakes off terribly. I would never buy it again in my life, and I know some people in this newsgroup have had similar experience because I remember posting about it. Sabrina Thunder, please explain why you ask me how I am, I'm fine. I wonder, is it sane, to pierce purple eyeballs made of china? -'Iron Flower', K's Choice.
