Thank you all for responding to my post! I'll be looking for opinions on the rest of this line I used Dr. Hauschka in the early 80s - it was a cult amongst my friends. I adored the cleanser and the toner (regular). I also loved the skin conditioner N which comes in little glass ampoules that you break in a dishtowel. I just threw out a tube of rose cream that had gotten a mess - I find it too greasy - like trying to moisturise with lipglass! DH also makes wonderful body oils - the Blackthorn composition is my favourite. They used to have a Skin Capsule nutritional supplement that contained powdered amethyst. I never tried it since dialysis makes many harmless things fatal but again, the DH cult swore by them. I've noticed that they are making colour cosmetics but I have been rather unimpressed by them at this point. - hortensia

I tried the DH line a few months back, using the oily skin/acne products.  I can't remeber all the names, but i know i use dhte cleansing cream - really liked the way my skin felt after using this. i also used the essential oil blend that was supposed to be for oily/acne prone skin.  mind you, at this point, i had no acne, and my skin wasn't really that oily, just not dry either.  After using this product, however, my face was a complete mess.  I had cystic-type acne and enlarged, oily pores - UGH!  I called the DH spa that is in the area and asked them about it and the woman told me that that was supposed to happen, and that it was my pores expelling all the bad stuff that was in them before.  I don't know that i buy that explanation, and i wasn't about to suffer through all that with the hope of having good skin come after...  What i do LOVE from the DH line is the lip balm.  both in stick and pot form it is truly the best, most moisturizing and healing lip balm/gloss i have ever used.  I also love the sheer gold-ish tint it has - makes lips a nice natural color. Now I know I'll have to buy the lip balm and check out the Blackthorn body oil! I have another question too:  Can anyone compare DH to Yonka? Sylvie
