and simply do not recognize it, because what has been defined in various ways simply is not the real thing. That is also a complicated way to say that no-one has has ever met a god, no  gods exist in the real world and are figments of people's imaginations, because what has been defined in various ways simply is not real. if gods are personal then they may be met. even if they are only figments of imaginations these figments are real and encountered, focussed upon, and possibly projected upon or fueled for some subjective reason. coming to understand what should be called god phenomena is a reasonable area of study for empiricists, and the soft sciences are splayed out for it. thank you for entertining my questions and confusion. wouldn't the point of imagination is to 'pretend' it's real, so at least for that moment when you're engaging it, it's real for all intents and purposes... Yes.  I frequently pretend something is real.  However, after that exercise is over, I stop pretending, and that real thing dissolves into a happy memory of my imaginings. but at the time of the exercise, it became your reality for that small moment in time... whatever the concept or thing you imagined was something concrete with attributes and and identity... it's not something that does not exist, it's real in its own way... Can you prove ther eis not a pixie hiding under a rock somewhere in the world ..
