Has anyone tried BioMedic's skin care products? They're sold by plastic surgeons and often used in combination with a glycolic peel (MicroPeel). Appreciate hearing about your experiences.

Has anyone tried BioMedic's skin care products? They're sold by plastic surgeons and often used in combination with a glycolic peel (MicroPeel). Appreciate hearing about your experiences. I thought BioMedic made Philosphy products, but I could be wrong (I'll have to check my containers upstairs later on and see). I just ordered some Philosophy stuff from Nordie's, and I love it. Skin care, all skin care. First off, the cleanser smells great, lathers up nicely and cleans everything (Real Purity it's called). They don't do toner. Hope in a Jar is like Reddi Whip - smells awesome, goes right into the skin like magic, doesn't feel greasy or look it under makeup, great stuff. Eye Believe is the same consistency as HinaJ, sinks right in, and is good under shadow without making it oily looking. The other two products that I ordered are toys in the sense that you use them only occasionally. Stuck in the Mud is the BEST mask I have ever used (charcoal/clay - you look absurd, but it feels divine). Deeply Superficial is a brick-colored, grainy goo in a pot that is used as an exfoliating wash. The directions say on a dry face, but if you dampen your face, I find it works much better, and leaves a radiant skin behind. Without a little water, it's as if you put a piece of sandpaper on your face, so I don't know why they tell you to use it dry. Janice

I have just started using BioMedic under a doctor's care and have under gone two micropeels. My skin has never looked better! Previously, I had red, dry patches on either side of my nose. These are now gone. I am very pleased! -Jennifer

Boimedic DOES make philosophy, which is good. You're getting real skin care from philosphy. I LOVE it! I just disovered philosophy and intend to order more. Eventually, I remembered to look at the boxes to find out that this is true. I got mine through Nordie's Personal Shopper, but you can also call 1-888-2new-age and request a brochure, or go to the website which is http://www.philosophy.com and see all the product de_script_ions, and I think even order from there. I LOVE the packaging (which doesn't make a better product - it just makes them fun), and most importantly, THEY WORK WELL!! They have stuff for women and for men, as well. I need to call them to see if ANYBODY in the Boston area carries it (does anyone on alt.fashion know the answer?). Janice
