The selection of the head-dress depends not only from the kind, structures and the length of hair, but first of all from the shape of the face. Besides the hairdresser returns still the attention on her outlines, the binding of eyes or the complexion. |

Uno-Hoo! <Uno-Hoo@NOSPAMbigfootdotcom wrote in message It hardly seems possible to be even more outraged about the largesse of the UK gov't in handing out taxpayers money to undeserving cases but this takes the biscuit. The number of alcoholics and drug addicts claiming incapacity benefit has doubled since Labour came to power. Despite the govt's claim to be getting to grips with Britain's 'sick note' culture, the situation deteriorated again this year. Almost 100,000 people -or one in 25 of all incapacity benefit claimants - now say they are unfit to work because of drug or alcohol problems. Why on earth the taxpayer should be funding the life_style_s of people who are unable to work through self-inflicted incapacities such as drinking to excess and drug abuse is beyond me. Because if you stopped funding them you'd stop funding a load more deserving case. Where will you suggest we stop? Should we get all those no good pensioners back to work rather than idling their time away? Only ex cops and other bums living off the backs of the more productive of us Good point. Needs addressing.

I accept that up to a point. I pay tax out of a pension that is paid from tax - but that applies to every public sector worker in the country. That is how the public sector works. That is how the public sector is funded. What are you arguing for? Complete abolition of the entire public sector? How else would you fund the public sector if not out of taxation? Who said anything about abolition of the public sector? You do like going off into flights of fancy. What I'm arguing for is an end to the grossly generous treatment of police officer pensions. I thought I'd made that abundantly clear but you must have missed the gist of my argument somehow. No surprise there, then. Mike.

writes Millions take recreational drugs every weekend. Including many serving and retired police officers A dealer I used to know in Petersfield claimed he supplied Petersfield police station (now closed). I've personally smoked it with police officers, solicitors and a barrister who is now a judge. I used to smoke with someone who is a currently serving Chief Superintendent (before he joined, mind). Yes, indeed. All these people, from the highest to the lowest, enjoying their choice of recreation and none of them come to any great harm whatsoever. Yes they did come to great harm. I used to smoke with someone who is a currently serving Chief Superintendent (before he joined, mind). He did.

writes It would stay the same; meanwhile people would stock up cigarette cartons in their thousands before the ban took effect; and then a very healthy expensive black market would arise to feed their habit once their stocks ran out. Quite so. Meanwhile HM Treasury will be down a £billion or so in tax and will have to cut Kev's pension. Bad reply, I will have to vote for a ban now.

See above. I do not believe for one moment that it would stay the same. You are arguing that every single smoker in the country would be prepared to break the law, and risk a criminal record, in order to continue with their habit. Many might - the majority would not. Many already break the law by buying black market cigarettes. Even the most law abiding people have committed criminal offence such as speeding - even you? I do not doubt for one moment that some would continue to break the law and smoke - but the threat of prosecution would deter the majority. How many people in Scotland and Ireland defy the ban on smoking in public places? How many will defy it in England when it comes in next summer? When we banned smoking in our new area, people went to the old area for a smoke, when we banned tha whole site, people went to the toilets for a smoke. Hiding the smoking is more risky (from a fire POV) than smoking up front.
