I'm fairly new to this NG, so I don't know if you all are familiar with Aedes  de Venustas.  It's a small store in NYC, that also puts out a catalog.  I got  their latest issue last week, and as usual it's full of beautiful imported  products.  They don't sell cosmetics but they carry a variety of perfumes,  bath and body products, home fragrances and some skin care. The product lines  in the new catalog include Creed, L'Artisan Parfumeur, Parfums de Nicolai,  Czech and Speake, Aesop, D.R.Harris and CO, La Ligne de St. Barth, Esteban,  Lafco, Agraria and E. Coudray.   The products are great and the people at the store have always been very  helpful when I've called to inquire about ordering items not in the catalog. Anyway, my only connection with Aedes de Venustas is as a satisfied customer.  I just thought you all might be interested-what with the holiday season fast  approaching. I was just in the store on Saturday....I have been trying to get a copy of their catalog since April and finally got one last Friday.  It is a great little shop and full of harder to find products and the staff is very friendly and helpful.  They also carry Aesop products and Jurlique.  I bought a new (to me) fragrance from the Parfums de Nicolai called Eau d'Ete - it's citrusy with a little jasmine and a jar of Aesop's Rind Aromatique Balm.  It's a body moisturizer that contains essences of orange, grapefruit and lemon - it's pretty yummy!  I think the catalogue is a must have !
