It is really bizarre in pro sports, where we have competition of the freaks. Nine foot tall basketball p_layer_s with half the real talent of some five footers. Or football, where sumo knights in armor try to cripple one another. Or wrestling, which is really soap opera, badly acted by beefy steroid no-necks shouting at one another, and kicking a guy when he is down while the crowd cheers. What have we come to? At least golf and _base_ball still have normal sized p_layer_s. Tennis is OK too. I really hate to see beauty contests where anybody but the winner is a loser. Where do they teach sportsmanship and fair play these days? Keynes Winning isn't everything. It's the only thing. If the 5 foot tall basketball p_layer_s could score more points than the 9 foot basketball p_layer_s then there would be no 9 foot tall basketball p_layer_s. What is the point of basketball but to score baskets? There used to be a rule called 'goal tending' where you couldn't raise your hand above the rim. Now 90% of the p_layer_s can raise their hands above the rim without their feet leaving the floor and it's legal. How come these terrific athletes can even miss stuffing the ball through the hoop with their hands? Hanging and swinging on the rim may be fun to do, but I'd rather watch kids playing on a swing. When was the last time you heard a call for 'traveling' (taking too many steps without dribbling)? They all do it because they can't dribble and nobody cares. High school girl's basketball is a lot more fun to watch. (Even though they are afraid to jump and make their tits jiggle.) I am six feet tall and pretty good, but a guy six five can always muscle me out and block my shots. Basketball is a contact sport now. You have to draw blood to draw a foul. I'm starting a new basketball league here. The basket is a hole in the floor, so I am recruiting midgets and dwarfs. Screw pro basketball. - Ukryj cytowany tekst -- Poka? cytowany tekst -

Tennis is OK too. Speaking of golf does everyone have the option of using a golf cart now? I really hate to see beauty contests where anybody but the winner is a loser. Even if you are a runner up, you are a failure, so drop dead. The same thing applies to kid sports, physical or academic. Winning is all. Nothing else matters. But if the winner can't perform her duties, blah, blah, blah, then the runner up gets the crown. Where do they teach sportsmanship and fair play these days? Keynes So let the Sumo wrestler work the runways because 'everybody is a winner'. You got it backwards. Everybody is a loser, so fuck em. Keynes If at first you don't succeed, try, try and blame Bill Clinton. ( CONs - men at work greasing the Axles of Evil . ) If we give up on the constitution, the terrorists win. You be afraid of the boogyman. I'm afraid of a lawless government.

You got it backwards. Everybody is a loser, so fuck em. If the mindset of there's no winners continues then you're right.

There are still still professional sports opportunities for small people.
