Hi, I am considering buying a 1996 Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth minivan and am concerned about the reliability problems. John, I have a 1989 Plymouth Grand Voyager with a 130,000 miles on it.  I bought it used in 1990 with about 20,000 miles.  Overall I have been very happy with this van but it has had its share of small problems.  Left me stranded only once when a fuel pump went at 55k.  It also has been a much better after 60,000 miles than from 20k to 60k miles.

      Not a big concern to Eric, but it WAS a big concern to me when the trans. stranded my family on a highway late a night some 850 miles from home and at just 12,000 miles on the odometer!  _base_d on evidence, you can stretch that model year to the mid-1990s as the failures are *stil* occurring!
