Hi, I am considering buying a 1996 Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth minivan and am concerned about the reliability problems. John, I have a 1989 Plymouth Grand Voyager with a 130,000 miles on it. I bought it used in 1990 with about 20,000 miles. Overall I have been very happy with this van but it has had its share of small problems. Left me stranded only once when a fuel pump went at 55k. It also has been a much better after 60,000 miles than from 20k to 60k miles.

: They care but it's just not as much as they care about getting new : products out. Now that's they've managed to revamp the whole Chrysler : line-up perhaps Lutz and Eaton will focus on being consistent with their : quality. Many of us do not think they care much at all! If the DEATH toll from ABS failures rises maybe they will care....but as long as only accidents result, then they do not care. Please clarify what you mean by revamp... the only revamping I see is keeping the wool over the owners eyes!

Not a big concern to Eric, but it WAS a big concern to me when the trans. stranded my family on a highway late a night some 850 miles from home and at just 12,000 miles on the odometer! _base_d on evidence, you can stretch that model year to the mid-1990s as the failures are *stil* occurring! Hey, that's a familiar story! We live in MA

A bunch of CRAP Charlene, shut the hell up. I've asked you on SEVERAL occasions to put up or shut up, both in E-mail and on this list, but you keep posting half-truths like you have your fingers in your ears, yelling LALALALALALALA... You had trouble with your car? I beleive that. However, I don't beleive it was Chrysler's fault, and I'm tired of reading your filth that you refuse to let be authenticated by the opposing party. If others want to follow your pilgrimage, that's swell too, but NOBODY should consider your word gospel until it's either been verified or opposed. When you start touting your opinion as Law or Truth, you'd better have something to back it up. So far, you have nothing but a killfile, and that doesn't help your cause one bit. So, I say again: put up or shut up. Let's have your document numbers, let's have your suit information, let's have it all. Let ANYONE take a look at it, and if it exists let an opposing interpretation be made available. I think it's sad that you're a miserablist. Don't make me call you a liar to boot. Carl

: Charlene, shut the hell up. I've asked you on SEVERAL occasions to : put up or shut up, both in E-mail and on this list, but you keep : posting half-truths like you have your fingers in your ears, yelling : LALALALALALALA... Thank you, Carl, for your constructive criticism. (Didn't you say *I* was the emotional one?) : You had trouble with your car? I beleive that. However, I don't beleive : it was Chrysler's fault, and I'm tired of reading your filth that you : refuse to let be authenticated by the opposing party. Trust me, Carl, the problems in the '92 van WERE Chrysler's fault....it was all in the original DESIGN and DEFECTIVE nature of the components. Period. : If others want to follow your pilgrimage, that's swell too, but NOBODY : should consider your word gospel until it's either been verified or : opposed. When you start touting your opinion as Law or Truth, you'd : better have something to back it up. So far, you have nothing but : a killfile, and that doesn't help your cause one bit. I am not asking anyone to do this. I have asked all to do their own homework. I merely have given them the resources they need to find out for themselves, that's all. : So, I say again: put up or shut up. Let's have your document numbers, : let's have your suit information, let's have it all. Let ANYONE take : a look at it, and if it exists let an opposing interpretation be made : available. I am in no debate over the matter with you. The FACT is that there is a BIG problem with both the ABS and transmissions in these vehicles. You can locate the info just as easily as I can, Carl. You nor anyone else will squelch the facts by shutting me up....I am not the only one with the facts. I would appreciate a little more respect. Does Mark Hoops think your tone is strident??? If not, then, something is amiss. I will not stoop to your level. This is the only response you will get from me as I do not have time to waste on the likes of you. : I think it's sad that you're a miserablist. Don't make me call you a : liar to boot. Carl, you will NOT be able to call me those things unless you turn the mirror on yourself FIRST. I am simply not lying....what reason would I possibly have for doing so. I have a reputation to protect and you will not find allegations of lying there. I feel *good* not *bad* for giving others valuable info. I am optimistic not pessimistic that the truth will come out as more owners speak out. So, you are WAY OFF TARGET, Carl! _base_d on your post, I think *you* are the unhappy one. I am sorry my posts make you so unhappy, but your HARSH words will not turn me away from speaking to others. Intimidation is unhealthy!

Intimidation is unhealthy! My point exactly. Let the truth speak, not emotional tirades and worthless jabber full of exaggerations and lies. One last time: put up or shut up. To your blind followers: put your faith in what you trust, and trust nothing until you've seen all sides.
