Now who's going to say with a straight face that someone 2-5 could help determine which shows stay on television? In most instances, kids that age just sit there and watch whatever their parents keep the tv on. And sadly, a lot of them are hooked on Nickelodeon. Strange. The ratings system (Nielsens, not television ratings, but they're a joke too) is a joke and will always be a joke. I'm not saying that you give every joe a ratings box.
