On the 2-11 demographic end of that spectrum the magic number in 65. Or 52, if Batman beyond is any indication. First of all, that demographic age limit . . .2-11.  Now who's going to say with a straight face that someone 2-5 could help determine which shows stay on television? In most instances, kids that age just sit there and watch whatever their parents keep the tv on.  And sadly, a lot of them are hooked on Nickelodeon.  Strange. The ratings system (Nielsens, not television ratings, but they're a joke too) is a joke and will always be a joke.  I'm not saying that you give every joe a ratings box.  I'm just saying what's the point of ratings in the first place? Well, amazing as it sounds, we're all spouting OPINIONS, not graven-in-stone facts.......something the KOTH-hater needs to remember. Myself, I'd really miss it.......the ongoing Bobby/Kahn Jr storyline, Peggys' continuing downward spiral ( no pun intended ), the outside chance that we might someday see a new Luanne ep or even see Judge cut Bill a break.......I'd miss it. And I _will_ kinda miss Family Guy, even though recent eps give the impression that it was rapidly becoming The Stewie Show ( and I wouldn't _terribly_ mind using that little fellow for skeet shooting.......).         I sure won't miss Clerks.....or, as I like to call it, Gone In 60 Minutes. How that.........thing...........even made it to broadcast is beyond me. Made Stressed Eric look like a bloomin' masterpiece.........what audience were they going for? Slackers too lazy to find MTV in the cable guide?!?!

I'm amazed that the Networks haven't tried using the internet as a broader gauge of what people are watching, just to see how it differs from the Neilsons.  If there was a weekly survey of what did you watch this week on the Network's websites, I'd take 5 minutes a week to tell them what shows I loved. (the slacker trilogy and the animated series for Smith, B&B and KotH for Judge).  They both have their moments, but if you choose to bitch and moan about the lack of respect for a program that even the show's creator won't stand behind, kindly give us caring folk more to go on than Everything I Like is Too Hip For the Room.
