Bush campaign uses the same dirty tactics they decry elsewhere. Rather than taking the high road, the Bush campaign (like a spoiled child) refuses to halt attack ads, refuses to shun soft money, and hides behind campaign loopholes. The official word from the Bush campaign is THEY did it first . This, of course, makes it O.K. When the public furor over Clinton boiled hot, the Republicans fed the hatred. That feeding was not a sense of higher morality or righteousness, it was a means to an end - the Presidency. We now see that it really doesn't matter if you used hard drugs in the past. It apparently doesn't matter if you use influence to avoid military service. It certainly doesn't matter where the money comes from as long as the ads attack the other guy. It is disgusting! We had a choice and we picked the lesser man, with the lesser intellect, with the least amount of character. George Bush is a disgrace to the Republican party. Anyone but Bush2000

George Bush is a disgrace to the Republican Party... He will steal from the little guy and pass the savings on to his own Party ..... with heavy pork going to the Lobbyists who provide the largest soft-money contributions.

Anyone but Bush2000 Bill Bradley is a nice guy. He was running a decent campaign against Al Gore. Gore savages Bradley, and Bradley does not respond. The bottom drop out of the Bradly campaign. Analysis, people will not support a candidate who will not fight back. Meanwhile back at the republican ranch, John McCain was attacking George W. Bush. Bush had to fight back, lest he look like a placid Bradley like wimp. Bush did fight back and turned around his campaign. Democratic voters did not vote for Bradley when he was seen as a wimp, and neither would republican have voted for Bush had he been perceived as wimp. David

Anyone but Bush2000 And this differend from McCain in what way? McCain was funded with soft money. McCain ran dirty attack ads. And if you think Bush is bad, woha, don't even get me started on Gore. I love you extra stupid posters. Bushes attack ads were directly from McCains home page. If quoting someone is an attack ad in your mind, you are extra stupid
