I'm told that since Winchester went out of business, their older rifles have gone up in value. I have a beautiful Winchester .308 lever action rifle that has rarely been fired that was a gift to me for my 16th birthday back in 1978. It's in excellent condition and has had less than 100 rounds put thru it. There is checkering on the stock as well as etched carvings of oak leaves and acorns. Magazines appear to hold 5 rounds and I have 2 of them. A classically beautiful weapon! No, I'm not selling it.

I was just curious about it's value. Attempts to google were fruitless.
